Password Recovery and Password Reset for Students, Instructors, Staff, and Administrators

Below you can find out how to request a new temporary password and reset your password.

  1. Go to your Prestige website. At the bottom of the login area, you will see a link that says, "Forgot password?". Click on that link.
  2. On the next screen, enter the email that the school gave you (this could also be your personal email, depending on your school's procedures).

    Make sure the "Role" field is set to your role.  For example, a student would set their role to student, staff would set their role to staff, and so on.
  3. Hit the "Submit" button. You'll receive an email with your username and a temporary password.
  4. Check the information in the email you received to log into Prestige. From there, you can reset your password to something more personal.
  5. To reset your password, once you've logged in, use the left-hand sidebar menu and click on "Setup & Customization" and then on "Account & Profile.
  6. Under your username, you'll see a field called "Password" where you can enter a new password. Use the field below that one to confirm the new password, then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click "Save" to set your new password.

    Don't forget to click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the screen.
